Client Work - GLO

Project Brief

To design social media templates to increase engagement and brand visibility across various social media platforms. The task involved creating eight bespoke posts per month using these designed templates, all while adhering to the client's established brand guidelines.

Outcomes

Overall the client expressed satisfaction with the communication, speed, and overall design quality of the project. These efforts led to improved brand visibility across their social platforms, even requesting branded ad sets derived directly from these designs. This project provided a great opportunity for me to express my design vision independently, build substantial trust in my design knowledge, and thoroughly explore design techniques within Figma.

Process

I started the project with an onboarding discussion with the client. This allowed us to understand their current frustrations, their aspirations for social media presence, what they valued in their existing branding, and areas they felt needed updating. We also explored various themes to inform and influence the design direction. The templates and initial branding elements were made using a blend of Illustrator and Figma. Once these were approved, we moved into the monthly creation of posts, which consistently went through iterative design and content revisions until they were perfected. These posts were then scheduled and published monthly, culminating in a social media report that evaluated the analytics of what performed well and what didn't. This feedback loop informed some design tweaks, though it predominantly influenced content strategy rather than visual design alterations.
